Achieving Excellence Together

Great Meols is a primary school of about 470 pupils, one of Wirral’s largest Primary schools, catering for children aged 3 to 11. We serve a broad catchment area in a beautiful location, with excellent, well-equipped facilities.

We are proud of our local reputation for achieving excellence together and aim to provide a safe, happy and stimulating learning environment to enable all children to achieve their full potential.

Through our curriculum we inspire, engage and nurture our children to achieve and flourish as citizens of today and the future. We want our pupils to be courageous advocates of the things that matter to them.

The success at Great Meols Primary School is achieved through strong partnerships between our children, parents, teachers, governors and community, where all stakeholders have our school values of community, compassion, creativity, diversity, resilience and teamwork at the heart of everything they do.

Great Meols is also a proud member of the Oak Trees Multi-Academy Trust and we are on a very exciting journey of school development. We work in close collaboration with the other schools - Stanton Road, Church Drive, Poulton Lancelyn, Brackenwood Juniors, Greasby Junior School and Egremont - and we are very well supported by the trust.
